CabView Runs But With No Video Clip
CabView does work on Vista but the Codecs used to compress and de-compress the video clip are no longer provided with Vista.
To install these codecs download and run the following file:
Infuriatingly these codecs don't always automatically register, therefore:
If your Vista supports a command line then:
Click on Start - Run - type cmd and press Enter (or click on OK)
Then type regsvr32 ir50_32.dll and press Return.
If your Vista doesn't support a command line then:
Run the following file:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe
When the command prompt (C:\>) appears, type regsvr32 ir50_32.dll and press Return
